The Brin Murphy Story
Once upon a time there was a dog and a cat...
Brin and Murphy became part of our family after a rocky start in life, their wagging tails and loving eyes reminding us every day of the healing power of pets.
Brin was born in a dark, dingy, foul-smelling puppy mill. Being a toy poodle, she was covered with flea bites and dirty matted fur. It was a cold, harsh situation and all the puppies were malnourished and living in an endless cycle of misery and despair.
Murphy was a feral cat who had been living on the streets of a major city for as long as he could remember. He was cold, hungry, scared, and unable to trust anyone. The resourceful cat had to fend for himself every day, scrounging for scraps of food and avoiding the dangers that lurked in the shadows.
Brin felt so alone and scared that her tiny frame shook from the cold and fear as she huddled in the corner, hoping someone would come and rescue her.
Then, one day, her prayers were answered. A kind-hearted woman entered the puppy mill and took one look at Brin and knew she had to get the puppy out of that place and bring her home.
Due to her size, Brin could fit in the palm of your hand. She received a soothing flea bath, and an abundance of loving care. After a few weeks of daily nourishment and affection, she came alive, playing with toys and running around the house with gratitude and joy!
One day, Murphy and a few of his friends stumbled upon a caring lady who had set up a small feeding station for the stray cats in the area. At first, they didn't trust her. They had been let down by humans so many times before that they were wary of anyone who approached them.
But the lady was patient and kind. She didn't force herself on the cats, but instead, she sat quietly nearby, talking to them in a gentle voice and offering them food. Slowly but surely, Murphy and his friends began to warm up to her. They started to come to the feeding station regularly, and before long, they were even letting her pet them.
After many months, the lady told Murphy that she had found him a perfect home with a loving family in the country, surrounded by fields and woods.
Once they joined our clan, it didn't take long for Brin and Murphy to share a deep friendship and they were constantly surrounded by love and support from our family and neighborhood companions.
When we founded our business, Brin and Murphy's stories immediately struck a chord with our mission and vision.
